Hello all
I don't normally post here but I wonder if the problems are associated
with Imidacloprid poisoning. In France it has affected the bees'
nervous system and rendered them incapable of navigating their way home
after foraging missions. In such circumstances one might expect the
colonies to dwindle with no sign of dead bees. It would also explain the
pollen deficiencies. The varroa may have been affected by the same
insecticide.
Just a thought - I'm no expert.
