ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
Our program is developing a formative evaluation tool to assess high
school students' understanding and interest of genetics, with an focus
toward the ethical, legal, and social issues of research focused on
gene-environment interactions. Given that the target audience is made
up of high school students, I'm wondering if there are any interactive
tools out there that museums or programs have used to do this.
Additionally, does anyone know of examples in the literature that
demonstrate successful evaluation tools to assess knowledge of genetics?
Thank you for any anecdotes or resources you can send my way.
Sincerely,
Kendra A. Mingo
