Lynda,
It has been my experience whenever I travel that most laptops will convert internally between 240 and 110. It should say for sure in the laptop's manual What you will probably need is a plug adaptor that will convert your laptop's two plug prong to a three plug prong. In the past I have bought these at electronic stores in the country I am working in but now that airports have such handy travel shops built in you might look there.

Subject: More AV for SHA Questions
Once again, more questions about AV equipment at the SHA meetings next week.
I will be bringing my laptop from the states to the UK. I am having some
major worries about whether I need an adaptor, a converter, a transformer,
or some odd combination of the three. Does anyone with more computer,
traveling and electrical experience have any words of wisdom - before I
entrust my computer to the profit-driven whims of my local electronics
salesman?
Cheers,
Lynda
