Would be more accurate if the notes stated that in the interpretation
that they are offering of the biblical texts Yits-chak and Yishma'el are
understood as the progenitors of Israelis and Arabs or Palestinians bc.
no biblical scholars seriously interpret the Ishmaelites as Proto-Arabs.
This is a far later interpretation and should be so acknowledged.
