Hi:
Been lurking a bit lately. Wanted to chime in on this. I had a very nasty
respiratory /sinus infection. I was reacting hyper to the cough meds, so tried
Mucinex over the counter (without decongestant) and it helped the cough. Also
worked tremendously well to help move the nasal congestion. It is time
relased guaifenesin.Might be worth a try.
Sincerely,
Tricia Hunt, LLLL, IBCLC, Nursing student-who needs to get offline and start
studying for my first nursing test.

Subject: Wellbid-D / Liguibid
Hello all,
I have checked the current Hale and Safefetus.com for information and am
comming up empty.
A personal friend has pnemonia and nursing an 8 month old. Has a copious
milk supply. She started taking medications today and said she feels as
though her supply is down. She is not sure if it is the drugs or just being
sick. She is willing to go without (at least the decongestant)drugs. She
went to a walk in clinic and said she was breastfeeding.
She was prescribed:
Liquibid also called Wellbid-D and it is manufactured by Presco
Says it is for cough and Congestion.
Anyone familiar with this drug? She is also on Zithromax for the pnemonia.
Any ideas on information on this drug or how to get it is appreciated along
with anything she can do to feel better without the decongestant or in
conjunction with is appreciated too.
thanks,
micky
