I have a friend in Bulgaria who is a large honey packer, primarily
exporting to the EU in barrels and in jars. He has asked me to help him
improve his honey filtration and processing to delay granulation. He has
asked me to check into ultrasound and vacuum filtration. Does anyone have
any knowledge about these filtration techniques? I would be interested in
hearing about filtration experience in general, particularly from someone
who exports to the EU. He packs high quality linden and acacia honey, so
there is a fine balance between good filtration and quality maintenance.
