Subject: Complying with the OSHA Lab Standard
ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

Have science centers and science museums encountered any difficulty in
complying with the OSHA Laboratory Standard, 29CFR1910.1450?
Is there an awareness that this is required?
Do many of your have chemical hygiene officers and written chemical hygiene
plans?
Among other things, these are two of the requirement of the regulation. LSI
will be happy to provide a copy of it's publication reprint, "The New ABCs of
Laboratory Safety: Complying with the OSHA Lab Standard."
Regards, ... Jim
