Thanks to Eric Siegel for posting the MIT Open Courseware info. I learned
about this project last year when it was nominated for a Tech Museum Award.
In fact, they won the $50,000 Microsoft Education Award.
I bet that many of you know about other innovators who are using technology
for the benefit of humanity in amazing ways. If so, I hope you will consider
submitting a Tech Museum Awards Program nomination.
The Tech Museum Awards Program honors and awards innovators from around the
world who use technology to benefit humanity. Twenty-five Laureates are
honored each year, with one Laureate in each of five categories being
awarded a $50,000 cash prize at the November 15 awards gala. The deadline
for nominations is April 3; self-nominations are accepted and encouraged.
