there was supposed to have been an article about moving one of the buildings 
from "fort calgary" in "popular science" maybe back as early as 1914 & again 
in 1929: "In 1929 the house was once again sold and relocated to its present 
site at 806-9 Ave. S.E. with the help of a steam tractor that was used to 
move it to its new foundation"
otherwise, maybe check old trade publications
