Thanks to Lauren and Margan for their advice.
I was able to track down a manual through Abebooks as I now know that it was entitled "Erection Instructions..." the rest of the title depended on what type it was. Like the Nissen every hut kit came with the relevant instructions but few have made it to archives.
Typing "Erection Instructions" into Google gave me some interesting results including some relevant web pages.
To comment on Margan's comment. Quonset and Nissen huts were a universal design used across the world. In the Nissan's case from Scarpa Flow to the Falklands and Quonsets from Alaska to Melbourne (Aust). They were both used in the tropics.
