The AltaMira volume by Jane Eva Baxter that Suzanne refers to is largely
a theoretical and methodological work which sets up a model for studying
children archaeologically. A wide range of examples are used. For lots
more data on 19th C children in North America, look at Jane's original
dissertation on this topic from Univ. of Michigan. For more on our book,
see the AltaMira website.
