I am a college student in Hawaii, doing a research project on a Cognac
bottle found in a recent dig. I am presently trying to identify the makers
of the Cognac. The bottle itself is broken and has no label, but from the
fragments it can be seen that it is a three piece mold bottle placing it
around 1880. An embossed cap was also found, it is made of lead and tin and on top is embossed "vieux cognac". A picture of which can be seen on this website http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/~anthro/Keanakolu.htm. If anyone here can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Also if any further information is needed please ask, I will be happy to answer to the best of my ability.
