ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Interestingly enough, we've seen a modest increase in our fall school
tour attendance. No data to suggest why - yet - although speculation is
that it's a need for some entertainment and distraction after the
hurricanes. Also, we have "animal grossology," which is proving to be
very popular with the kids....
Do know a couple of years ago in Dallas when school tours were dropping,
it was an issue with bus policy changes....
A casual observation: as teachers have to focus more and more on
teaching 'the test(s),' there is concern there's just not enough time to
go have fun.
