They look like they could be Marshalltown: some have soft grips, others
wooden, & the pictures vaguely look thin as a Marshalltown, though their
archaeology page (http://www.battiferro.it/en/archeologia.php) shows
something that looks like a well-used WHS; but hard to judge thickness from
a photo; otherwise, I've neither seen nor heard of these before
