Hello HISTARCHers:
Does anyone out there have any archaeological or ethnographic data on early
to mid twentieth century fishing camps/communities? I'm investigating one
in Florida (we have some prior Phase I survey data), and we are curently
conducting oral interviews with former residents. Did these types of small
communities fade away or collapse after WW II globally, or in developed
regions? Any info would be of assistance in developing a context, thanks.
