From: "Benjamin Benavidez" " Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain
the beekeeping merit badge still?".

What was this system? Did it offer a badge to say children who bothered to
learn a new craft? If so, did the system designers find a way to interest
chidren in bees?
I ask as I am about to start tutoring a school group in UK who have chosen
beekeeping as one part of their programme for getting Duke of Edinburgh's
Award - a scheme that has run for many years. It has taken years for the
shool to add beekeeping to the options and it will be a new game.
Does any one have a comparable syllabus for use on a 6 + 6 weeks @ 2 hours
course with teenagers?
