ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I generally follow Ted's approach, but I also really like the book What
is a Scientist? by Barbara Lehn She shows kids of this age doing
science, but in the framework of the habits of mind of a scientist.
Science is an abstraction, a scientist is concrete. My 6-year old loves
this book. Even if you don't use this book in your work, you might want
to buy a copy and give it to a K-1 teacher near you.
