ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

A number of years ago I saw an exhibit at
Heureka which consisted, if I recall correctly,
of a bed of seedlings, bright lamps and
instruments measuring carbon dioxide (perhaps
oxygen as well) and a black cover. Visitors could
see, on gauges, the effect of minus the black
cover and plus the black cover on carbon dioxide
emissions (as a measure of photosynthesis). As I
recall visitors (attendees at the first
international science museum congress) had some
difficulty interpreting the results.

You might want to contact Mikko Myllykoski
([log in to unmask]) for more
information.
