Sure, Barbara:

I'm calling it BEHIND THE RED CURTAINS: PROSTITUTION, REFORM AND POLITICS IN SKAGWAY, ALASKA, 1897-1917.

I have approached the University of Alaska-Fairbanks about publishing it. They are receptive to the idea, but I am now in revisions, then we need to go through peer review.

Would you be interested in doing an informal review for me, once I finish my revisions? They are in response to an excellent critique I got from a reader for the University of Washington Press, a review I wanted to address before I submitted the manuscript to U of A. The main comment had to do with a mixed popular/academic approach I had taken. As I have since written a historical novel to address the popular audience, I am focusing on an academic audience in my revisions.

I am hoping to have revisions completed in a couple of months.

Cathy

  Dear Catherine,
I'm interested in learning more about the book you wrote about archaeology
and prostitution inSkagway - can you tell me the title?
