Back of the tape:
Stan and Ollie: The Soilers
In Alaska, during the very exiting time when any gold-seeker could
have the opportunity to discover a mother load, one lucky fellow who
strikes it rich is "Our Hero." This wealth results into claims by
another, and much scuffle and commotion thereafter. The most comical
aspect of the movie pops up when "Our hero," as they say, departs not
in a comfortable limousine but in a garbage truck. Watch this classic
example of "from pan into the fire."
So it says.
Funny thing is, Stan's claim is "jumped" by the sheriff, will not fire
his weapon, as the women folk are there at a confrontaion, and fight
ensues later. The tape also has a couple of other shorts on it, one of
Sir Charles Chaplin, in part as a barber, which is not mentioned.
