CULTURAL HERITAGE RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION
Biosis Research Pty. Ltd., a leading firm providing consulting services
in both Cultural and Natural Heritage, is seeking to appoint a Cultural
Heritage Research Assistant in our Melbourne Office. This is an integral
full time support role for the Cultural Heritage Group of Biosis
Research. Our primary requirement for the position is that you are a
keen and enthusiastic archaeologist just beginning your career with a
proven commitment to support of the Cultural Heritage team.
Cultural Heritage Research Assistant
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Cultural
Heritage consultants in collecting & collating background information
for projects, field surveys, proposal writing, data gathering &
analysis, and report writing and production.
The successful applicant must hold a minimum qualification, BA (Hons),
BSc (Hons) or equivalent preferably majoring in either Archaeology or
History. Competency with computers and a current manual driver's license
are a must along with a keen desire to be part of a team of specialist
consultants. Remuneration package is negotiable based upon experience
and will include a profit-share component. Salary starts at $37,500
negotiable.
