Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator and Project Manager

ASC Group, Inc., a successful and growing cultural, ecological and
environmental consulting firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, has an
immediate opening for a prehistoric and/or historic archaeologist to fill a
senior level, full-time, permanent position in our Ohio, Kentucky, or
Indiana office.  The geographical focus of archaeological investigations for
this position will be the Ohio River valley.

Qualifications:  M.S., M.A., or Ph.D., meet the Secretary of the Interior’s
professional qualification standards for archaeology (RPA certification is
desirable), at least 3 years of CRM experience as a supervisor or manager,
and experience in Ohio River valley and/or southeastern U.S. archaeology.

Duties:  Manage multiple projects within deadlines and budgets, supervise
staff, client development, prepare and execute a business plan, prepare cost
and technical proposals, prepare and execute research designs, produce
well-written and professional technical reports, and periodically travel and
supervise fieldwork.

Salary is commensurate with experience.  ASC Group provides health, dental,
