Lynda,

Your laptop should already be equipped with a suitable transformer: it's the
black box on the electrical feed cable. If you aren't sure, take your cable
to the electronic's store! All you will need is an adaptor for the British
wall plugs.

Subject: More AV for SHA Questions

Once again, more questions about AV equipment at the SHA meetings next
week.

I will be bringing my laptop from the states to the UK. I am having some
major worries about whether I need an adaptor, a converter, a
transformer,
or some odd combination of the three. Does anyone with more computer,
traveling and electrical experience have any words of wisdom - before I
entrust my computer to the profit-driven whims of my local electronics
salesman?

Cheers,
Lynda
