What you are looking for is called, in the trade, burner cloth or burner
wire.  Any steel supply warehouse should have it in stock or no more than
two days away.  The expense of special widths may be worth it because
cutting it is so time-consuming.  It's "ironic"  that you are having
trouble finding it in Pennsylvania.
