I hope someone out there can help me. My past sources for good 1/4"
screen mesh to use on arcaheology screens have dried up. can anyone
tell me where to find 1/4" mesh that is actually WOVEN (one strand going
over and under the others) instead of just strands laid across the top
of the others and "galvanized" to stick them together. The latter is
easily available in any hardware or garden center, but hardly lasts long
enough to be worth installing on the screens.
I suspect that some of the companies that make archaeology screens may
have their own sources. but we like our own design better, so want to
keep making our own instead of buying finished screens.
We're based in Pennsylvania, but I'm willing to order this stuff from
just about anywhere in the US, if I can be sure it really is the good
stuff that lasts. If I get a good answer to this query, I'll be happy
to post it for others as well. Thanks.
