Dear everyone,

This is an informal call for additional papers to a planned
session on 'Current Research in Australasian Historical
Archaeology' for the SHA 2005 conference in York.

I currently have a solid core of 5-6 interested potential
participants, but additional contributions from anyone else
considering making the trip to York would be very welcome.

I realise that the logistical issues of travelling to the
northern hemisphere in early January present a challenge,
but the more the merrier

Expressions of interest from potential session discussants
(based anywhere, not necessarily Australia or NZ) are also
welcome.

Please reply off-list.

Alasdair Brooks

(PS: as a former York post-graduate student, it's perhaps
worth pointing out that I know where all the best pubs are -
not that I'd dream of insinuating that archaeologists would
ever touch demon drink...)
