I'd love to put this hive through artificial winter conditions that mimic what north-eastern hives go through. We have to find out if feral Africanized colonies can survive the cold winter up north.
If Africanized ferals can thrive up north, local beekeeper propagation of EHBs will slow down AHB but it will become dominant rather quickly. Just like the mites did.
