I assume you'll be getting lots of suggestiosn. One that may be overlooked
and I think you should definitely check out, based upon the works you
mentioned above that you have liked, is Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E
minor. The first movement is haunting, and memorable. The second movement
is especially soothing and consoling. The third movement, lively and
spirited. If I had to describe the work in one word, I's say "exquisite".
