ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Have you considered using the heavy-duty cases used by musicians and
technicians to tour their gear? It would take a bit of retrofitting,
but that would be the absolute sturdiest way to travel kits that I
can think of... They would be more expensive, but those things are
indestructible, super-secure, and, well, they look really cool!
SKB and other brands can be found at: http://www.casesandmore.com/
Just a thought.
