My cousin, her husband, my husband and myself attended the Southwest Ohio Beekeeper's School this weekend. There was quite a crowd there (350-400?). Many of us were novices so we were quite excited to attend.
My group decided to split up and attend different sessions so we could learn as much as possible. Our plan was to share what we learned over dinner. The funny thing was that if you ask 100 beekeepers you get 100 answers! (to quote from a beekeeper!)
We spent the rest of the evening arguing over the different opinions we heard presented during our sessions. We must be officially beekeepers now. We've all been stung, we all don't agree, and we all spend too much money on the venders!
Thanks to all who planned the event and to the vendors who donated the great raffle prizes. My cousin won a beesuit!
