You might try Fike's "The Bottle Book", especially his category 8 on hair
products.  For each bottle described, Fike includes detailed information on
the bottle shape.  If you send me descriptions of the few that are
embossed, I may be able to identify them for you based on the drug store
catalog I am working on.
