A friend just reminded me about the Albany Almshouse project (700+
burials) under a tank parking lot, in clay, constantly filling with rain
that floated some scary-looking stuff with an irridescent sheen and a
skanky odor in addition to the dead. He said, "when they turned on the
heaters under the canopies, ah, what richnesses we experienced!"
