Dear list members,

I have an request that may be of some interest to you. While searching on
Ebay the other day I came across a painting depicting an archaeological
scene with arrowheads, a deer (?) jaw bone, two quartz points and a piece of
note paper showing the excavation. The painting is purported by the seller
to have been executed during the 19th century, but clues in the painting
itself lead me to believe that it is actually form the 20th century. For
example, the make of the brush and fact that the note paper appears to have
been pulled from a spiral notebook would lead me to believe that the
painting was executed in 1970 and not 1870. When I pointed this out to the
seller he told me that the piece was appraised as a 19th century
painting.....

If anyone wants to see the painting they can go to the link below or check
out item # 7314676911.

BTW, I am not the seller and will not be bidding!!!!!!!!!

I hope I have not offended anyone by bringing this up, but I am interested
in hearing your thoughts on this...let me know what you think.
