I have not had the opportunity to review all the posts on the most
recent version of King Arthur on film.  I haven't seen it and based on
the reviews may wait till it is on video.  I quite enjoyed earlier
versions of the tale like "The Holy Grail" and "Excalibur" and wouldn't
put any thought into the historical accuracy of those films ...  Has
this one really been marketed as more historically accurate?  In any
case, I prefer Arthur as a myth - allowing him to slay giants or Saxons,
pull swords from stones, and sail west at death and not visit North
America - or maybe he did ...
