Greetings:

We have been conducting archaeological excavations on a project that is
adjacent to Mission San Miguel in California. During this process we have
discovered a Mission Period kiln. It appears that half of it has been destroyed by
grading. We are interested in information about mission kilns for comparative
purposes and any specific information on San Miguel in particular.

We possess or have access to most of the secondary sources on this Mission,
e.g., Webb, Engelhardt, Geiger, and reports about Santa Barbara, La Purisima,
and San Antonio.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
