Today on National Public Radio's Diane Rehm show Dr. T. Berry Brazelton did a segment on feeding your child. He covered long-term nursing, co-sleeping safely. The hostess, questioned the "trend" of co-sleeping, and kept referring to the baby's bottle, but Dr Brazelton and his co-author Joshua Sparrow handled the topics quite well without abandoning any group. The topic of obesity DID come up, and sadly on references to bottle feeding and toddler feeding, no mention ( that I heard in my noisy car) of early breastfeeding.
You can listen to it on the website http://www.wamu.org/dr/ scroll down to todays date ( Thurs March 25 at the 11:00 segment)
