The Historic Preservation Planning Program, Heritage Preservation Services,
National Park Service is expanding its web site on preservation planning
(see www2.cr.nps.gov/pad) to include information and guidance on
preservation planning in/for/by local communities. To make this web site
useful to local communities, we would like to hear from you about what
kinds of information this web site should contain.
The following represents some of our thinking about content -- would you
find these topics useful?
Planning process outline & general "how-to" explanation
Existing guidance provide by some SHPOs
Examples of local preservation plans & links to local web sites
Sources of additional information (print & web)
What other topics should be addressed?
What local preservation plans are on the web & should be linked?
What sources of additional information do you recommend?
Thanks very much for your help!
