Max;
Warren Allman of The Museum of the Earth in Ithaca, NY has recently
developed a docents guide to evolution and the museum's exhibits
including suggestions of how to deal with the public (creationists).
The booklet is available as a .pdf file on their web site
<www.priweb.org>. Suggestions range of engaging in conversation and
explaining the museum's and science's position to excusing yourself
to the restroom if things get too difficult.

>I have been following the thread for most of the summer and thought
>that this issue would not make its way up here to Canada. However,
>with all of the issues of Evolution and Intelligent Design in the
>News the issue has now made its way into our Science Centre. One of
>the questions that had been asked by the list is how to deal with
>visitors who try to gang up on staff to get their point across.
>Many people have identified that they educate their staff so my
>question is for those that have training for staff would you be
>willing to share it with the rest of the list. The information
>would save me many hours of research.
>
>Thanks in advance.
