The Boston Globe editorialized on this very subject this morning,
suggesting that NPR should use some of these new resources for increased
jazz and classical broadcasting, including some attention to new talent.
One can hope, but there is little reason to be optimistic, given the
preferences of the present NPR leadership and the consultants they listen
to.
