Hello All,
I am looking for information about the former "Tri State Bee Farm" while the
outfit was based in Kalona, Iowa and the owner Jacob.

The 2000 hive outfit left Iowa bound for Missouri in 1983.

Thanks in advance and email me direct. Jacobs story is very interesting to
me and I want to write his obituary and possibly an article for a bee
magazine . Jacob died about eight months ago in a remote section of the
Missouri ozarks.

I am not sure of the last name spelling for Jacob but when my partner gets
home tonight I can post if needed as the name is on the receipt for his
outfit (or whats left).

Please email me direct if you remember the operation or owner. Jacob bought
his equipment from Dadant (according to his family)but not sure which branch
but suspect the Hamilton branch.
