ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The science center field has a tradition of sharing and mutual aid. A number
of institutions have published guidelines for reproducing their exhibits.
The Exploratorium's "Cookbook" series, the "Cheapbooks of Exhibit Ideas"
compiled by Paul Orselli and others, the Science Museum of Minnesota's books
(including one reproducing the Cell Lab, just published), the Ann Arbor
Hands-On Museum's "How to Build It and Keep It Working" are just a few of
the resources out there for anyone to buy.
Questions about when and how it's okay to copy have been addressed in a
number of conference sessions, some of them summarized in an ASTC Newsletter
