Paleontological Research Institution
and the Museum of the Earth at PRI
Development Assistant
May 2004

The Museum of the Earth at the Paleontological Research Institution is
seeking a full-time Development Assistant.

Responsibilities of the Development Assistant will include working with a
donor database inputting data and producing reports, producing individual
donor acknowledgments and general donor appeal mailings, formatting and
finalizing foundation proposals, managing our membership program with other
staff, and assisting with the planning and running of development-related
events.

Qualifications and requirements include at least 2 years of relevant
experience in fundraising, including donor database use and management,
event planning, and donor stewardship. Some familiarity with local
foundations around Central NY and capital campaigns a plus. Some evenings
and weekends required for events. Bachelor's degree required.

This will be an exempt position and begin on July 1, 2004. Salary depends
on experience and benefits. PRI is an Affirmative Action/Equal
