BIBBA, the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeders' Association has suffered several
name changes over the years. It started out 40 years ago as the Village Bee
Breeders' Association as its founder, Beowolf Cooper, posthumous author of The
Honeybees of the British Isles, noticed that each village had its own strain
of bees.
