Maria,
During "The Robot Zoo" at The Ontario Science Centre, we did a 45-minute hands-on workshop for children 7-14 that taught children how to construct a quadrapedal walking robot using LEGO. The workshop was a huge success - over 1000 children participated during summer months (we were there for one day per week).

If you are interested in learning more about our workshops for museums, contact me offline, or visit us as ASTC if you are going. It is our first year attending and we'll be showing how museums can run our engineering, animation and video game programming workshops.

Have you ever seen a science presentation/performance (like Mad Science)
that you thought was really, really good? Please forward contact info. for
any presenters you had at your museum or science center, and/or others that
you may have seen elsewhere!!

Does anyone know of any showcases that are done for this kind of thing?
They have them for children's performers--it's no problem finding a puppet
theatre!

And, thanks to those folks who forwarded info to my previous request. Much
appreciated!
