Eric,
You might want to consider a digital video player.
We have two digital video players that play Mpeg 2 files (same as DVDs).
One player is a looping player that continuously plays the same video or set
of videos and the other has up to 8 pushbuttons to play different video
segments. The video files are placed on Compact Flash cards, the player is
quite small (6" x 6" x 1-1/2") and there are no moving parts. For more
