In addition to Tom Lehrer and They Might Be Giants, there are quite a few dinosaur songs out there:
"Homo Erectus" - Kinky Friedman (PG13)
"Their Brains Were Small and They Died" - Mark Graham (Thesis out of favor with paleontologists)
One person who takes this science songs thing from the other side is:
Sam Hinton http://www.samhinton.org/ Sam has been at it quite a while and has max boffin credentials. He also has credentials as a science museum insider.
I've heard that Robert Millikan used to sing cowoy songs while waiting for cosmic rays to come in. I've never heard of any authentic laboratory work songs, I imaginge the folks toiling away in the sequencing labs have their own ways of warding off the tedium.
