Janet, I remembered reading an article in "nuts and volts" magazine
about using a microwave setup for some unusual gravity experiments.  If
I remember correctly, there were schematics on how to build the mw
apparatus....here's a link to the oct 01 issue. It might worth the 5
bucks, or a trip to the library?  (if I find my back issue, I'll let you
know...)
