ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I doubt that Mr. Wilber's writing is likely to bring about any
reconciliation among those who are already divided on these issues. A look at the readers'
reviews on web pages of on-line booksellers reveals that opinions of Mr.
Wilber's scholarship, clarity and insight regarding science and religion fall
into two strongly divided camps: those who think it's shallow rubbish and those
who think it's brilliant (and yes, my review is one of the most strident
among the former). As close as I can tell from most reader/reviewers, the
divergence seems to be along the lines of science backgrounds on one side and
non-science backgrounds on the other. That doesn't seem much different from what
we already have.

Best regards,

Charles Stout
