My condolences.  As one of the HISTARCH cat people, I can sympathize.
I've buried two, myself, over the years, where I used to live in
Illinois, and planted daffodils on their graves--tried to match the
colors of their coats in the flowers, with limited success.  The
daffodils covered the 'cemetery' quite nicely, until the next tenant
(who moved in when the bulbs were dormant) picked that spot for his
garbage cans.  I do think that Felix and Maybelle might have preferred
that to flowers, in any case.
