It was just a weak attempt at humour & to avoid seeming politically
incorrect while doing so; there might be a temptation on the part of some
lowly-minded TV producers to boost ratings on an archaeology-themed show by
focussing a little too long & closely on female members of the crew as they
screened...
You can imagine the low camera angles, backlit, slow motion; or overhead
shots, ostensibly looking down into the screen, but ensuring plenty of
cleavage...
Anyway - let's drop the subject

I am not certain what was intended by the earlier reference to BBC avoiding
titillation. I would hope that it avoided sensationalism, but on the other
hand, it should portray work in the field in a realistic manner. Hopefully,
we all (of both genders) won't end Bob Hoover
